Spring Palette That Won’t Break the Bank?

My eyeshadow palette obsession is real! Unfortunately so is the high price that normally comes with some of my favorite ones. I always look for palettes that can provide many different looks from full on glam to every day light glam but that also offer something different that I haven’t seen before. Unfortunately there are few products for me at the drugstore that are able to deliver rich, creamy shadows that go on pigmented. I went to Ulta one afternoon looking for new mascara because mine was all out and noticed the sale being put on. Ulta happened to be doing a promotion on Makeup Revolution products where you buy one and get the second for 50% off. There was a similar sale on some NYX products and many others. For awhile now I have heard whispers of Makeup Revolution but never could bring myself to try anything. Many of the drugstore palettes I have tried in the past have proven to be cheap quality and dull. For this reason it took me awhile to break down and finally purchase The Makeup Revolution New-Trals vs. Neutrals palette that I have been eyeing for quite some time.  I just didn’t have much confidence in the product because of past experiences. Boy was I wrong!!

These shadows more than impressed me. There are several colors in here that are pretty unique in my opinion. I have been seeing these colors EVERYWHERE recently for the Spring 2016 season so I have been on the hunt for something that had the pinky/neutral color scheme. Most of these colors blend out perfectly and were extremely buttery when I swatched on my arm.

This is the first row from top to bottom – Bias, Neutral, Personal, Vogue, Trend, New Trial, Tone, and Custom.

Overall Review:

  • Great for everyday use or night time glam
  • Creamy and Buttery when swatched on arm
  • Easy to Use
  • Great Value – $10.00 regularly at Ulta
  • Blends Easily
  • The only shadows I found lacking in pigmentation would be Neutral and Adapt
