Audrey Hepburn put it best when she said “The beauty of a woman must be seen from in her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides”. As women -please tell me I am not alone- we carry around certain insecurities and doubts that tend to weigh heavily on our quality of life. Whether it be imagined short comings of success, physical appearance or what others chose to think about us, we all have moments of self doubt. I have found that I always feel better about myself when I have slapped on some makeup and thrown on an outfit I know I can rock. This may not work for everyone but, it’s part of my reason for choosing to write this blog. If beauty and fashion are some of the ways you feel empowered, like me, then you have come to the right place. Let’s be enthusiasts together!

My name is Kristen Clark and I have an obsession with all things fashion and beauty. It’s been a passion of mine since I was a young girl and used to beg my sister to teach me how to put on makeup. I was so enthralled with it that I even painted a family portrait with different lipsticks on the wall of my closet at 4. Now, at 24, I know never to waste precious lipstick like that but, I still possess the same love for makeup. As a recent graduate I’m asking myself all of the important questions at this point in my life. Who am I? What career path is right for me? What am I passionate about? Do I take time for the things that make me happy? The answers to these questions brought me here. For now, this is a hobby that I’m overjoyed to share with y’all. I am hoping this can be not only a place of fashion and beauty inspiration but a place of positive discourse. I look forward to posting!
